Rich Siegel is among the first to invest in intellectual property as catalyst and unique asset class. In 1997, as a work-from-home Dad, with two preschool age children and inspired by Joe Nocera’s 1994 book, “A Piece of the Action,” Rich began to design a proprietary research, investment company business model and created numerous financial products, including “Principal Guarantee” 2006 Patent (Granted 2018); and a cloud based, mobile GUI (AUGMAT) for ultrafast, information intensive research, that serves as a platform for Augmented Communications and Enterprise Solutions (ACES). Rich is strictly a long-term investor, an avid and life long deep-dive researcher and inventor. He can occasionally be found playing golf and poker in Las Vegas. His best in-the-money finish to date was at the 2009 World Series of Poker, Ante Up For Africa tournament. It was his third attempt to win for Ante Up For Africa and his only WSOP cash to date. In the early 1980s Rich attended Syrause. At SU he purchased and read most every day both The Wall Street Journal and The Daily Racing Form, while playing poker and handicapping horses. Wall Street was more staid back then but change was a foot. So in 1983 he bought (with horse race winnings) a Commodore SX-64 with an idea that he could better handicap horses, and, just maybe, pick a stock or two as well. He exited SU early and headed to Wall Street to trade options. At the last minute, though, he decided to fold his "Street" hand completely and instead created a key lime pie and sold it out of his Mom's kitchen (the Commodore SX-64 proved far slower than horses and stock jockeys, the pie was later licensed to Legal Sea Foods). Rich's original "Wall Street" research Co. was Chilport Proprietary Research 1998. Today Boston Long Wharf AI Holdings, Oceanshade New Energy Fund, Rivershade Liferaft Design Co, his "Hedged" Intellectual Property Portfolios, Fuel Cell, H2 Moonshots, AUGMAT, Pulsati "Pro Device Lab" all coincide with 2005, The Next Big Investments on Wall Street & Venture/Hedge Technologies, launched Jan. 12, 2015. All under one Holding Company in Boston, MA. 🚩BOSTON LONG WHARF AI HOLDINGS INC.* FOUNDED 2/2/22
